Ten years of Biz Days and a very fruitful collaboration

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011

This year the Biz Days event has managed to surprise once more by offering a broad perspective on the business environment in Romania.

Tenth year of Biz conferences and workshops have brought with them relevant speakers – succesful managers and entrepreneurs and a very creative approach on what makes success. During five days : 7-11th of November, participants had the opportunity to meet some of the well known names in the Romanian business environmnent such as Radu Georgescu (CEO and President of GECAD), Steven van Groningen (CEO at Raiffeisen Bank) and Sorin Psatta ( Integrated Communication Director of BBDO Romania) as well as some more surprising guests – Ivain Patzaichin (Olympic champion) and Smiley (music artist).

Maastricht School of Management Romania has been present this year as well during three of the five days. Our professor Marius Ghenea was in the speaker panel during the Entrepreneurship Day. The Management day was an eventful one for our team as well – Oliver Olson (Program Director) , Steven van Groningen (also in MSM’s Board of Advisors) and Adrian Stanciu (Partner at Wanted Transformation Consultancy and Senior Lecturer at MSM Romania) have given the participants a glimpse on what makes a good leader and how to treat change management.

Paul Renaud (Head Coach at Renaud Investments and Senior Lecturer at MSM Romania) was in the final panel of Media & Marketing day and inspired the audience with a study case on Romanian brands that reach global success.
